About Dr. Booth

Chiropractic Health and Rehabilitation Doctor in Philadelphia and Delaware

Dr. John Booth, Chiropractic Health and Rehabilitation | Philadelphia, PA | Booth Chiropractic Health and Rehabilitation
The following is a quick history so you may have a better understanding of who I am, both personally and professionally.

Dr. John R. Booth was born and raised in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, a suburb southwest of Philadelphia. he was heavily involved in sports and, upon graduating high school, he attended King’s College located in Wilkes Barre, PA, where he competed in NCAA lacrosse as team Captain . It was after a back injury on the lacrosse field that he discovered chiropractic medicine. This experience led me into my passion for holistic healthcare and a future career.

Dr. Booth attended New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York, where I met my wife, Ashley. Upon graduation, I moved home with the dream of opening my own practice.
In 2013, Dr. Booth opened the doors to Booth Chiropractic Health and Rehabilitation. For the past 9 years Dr. Booth has been owner and head clinician of a Multidisciplinary office working in synergy with other musculoskeletal specialists including Neurology, Pain management, and orthopedics. He believes that a team approach to medicine allows patients to receive the best outcomes. Practicing in  the city of Philadelphia has allowed Dr. Booth to treat a diverse patient population. Dr. Booth is proficient in Spanish and works to understand each of his patients needs.

Professionally, Dr. Booth has diligently pursued continuing education courses, lectures, and seminars with a focus on becoming an expert in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal injuries.  Specifically, the treatment and management of spinal trauma and disc injuries.  These are often complex injuries that respond best to a custom designed treatment plan. This must take into consideration an individual’s goals and limitations. Often in modern medicine, patients are offered one treatment solutions: take this pill, undergo this injection, get this surgery, perform these standard stretches. The best treatments must address the root cause of a patient’s pain.  Once the correct diagnosis is discovered then a personalized treatment plan can be developed. Using a variety of conservative and non invasive techniques Dr. Booth is able to relieve acute and chronic pain.

Dr. Booth is certified in:
Whole Foods Nutrition
Graston Technique
Kinesiology Taping (Certified RocDoc)
Selective Functional Movement Assessment
Nimmo Technique
Myofascial Release
Flexion/Distraction
Doc Decompression

In his free time Dr. Booth enjoys spending time with my wife Ashley, two young children Grant/ Kennedy, and my yellow Labrador Retriever Remi. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves outdoor physical recreation.
